Fishing & fishing pass

Ocean fishing on the farm world (ocean biomes) with its own pass. /angelevent shows status. /buchtausch swaps a fishing book for a vanilla book. Bait at spawn: 100 crystals, 60 minutes pass XP times 20.

Event plugin: not always on the net. It comes back, the same, improved or changed. Chat, Discord and the event command say if it is running now. Jobs, plots and farm stay.

Farm world and ocean biomes only. Vanilla fishing in rivers does not count for event loot. Base chance starts low and rises with pass level, cap depends on prestige (P0 10 percent, P1 20, P2 30). Luck bait and luck of the sea on the rod add extra, without treasure spam.

Event rods with high lure use their own wait, not vanilla lure above V. Bait NPC at spawn: one buy one item, right-click activates times 20 pass XP for 60 minutes, max 120 minutes stacked. Luck bait and luck on the rod stay untouched.

/buchtausch (aliases /bookswap, /angelbuch): fishing books from the event for a vanilla book. Pack model and lore do not count as custom. Special enchants and the infinity book stay out. Books in infinity storage and on the palette go through, one book is taken.

How it works

  1. 1

/angelevent: read the window and pass.

  2. 2

Optional bait at spawn for 100 crystals, right-click.

  3. 3

/farm, ocean, fish. Event loot comes extra to the fish.

  4. 4

Pass XP rises. /angelevent pass for the track.

  5. 5

    Unwanted fishing books: /buchtausch.

Commands

/angelevent

Status and pass. Aliases /angelpass, /fishevent. Subs include pass, status, tausch.

/buchtausch

Fishing book for a vanilla book. Aliases /bookswap, /angelbuch.

Event window sits in config (Europe/Berlin). Outside that, vanilla fishing stays, without event loot.

AFK fish farms that lag the server are close to a ban. One rod, not a 40 tower.

Tips

  • Bait before a long session. 60 minutes times 20 XP is worth it.
  • Prestige on the fishing pass raises the loot cap. Level first, then stand for hours.
  • Do not put special-enchant books into /buchtausch.
