Texture pack artist
Custom items & 3D models
Not a vanilla recolor. You build our server resource pack: custom items, 3D models, cases, ores, GUI. During soft open you help us build it - pay when the server earns, like the rest of the team.
Your tasks
- Custom items with own 3D models (Blockbench), not only 2D textures on vanilla meshes
- Java resource pack: models, textures, custom model data, a pack layout we can load
- Cases, Nexus ores, weapons, tools, GUI icons and item looks that read as Nexus in-game
- Work with devs on item IDs and CMD strings so the pack matches the plugins
What we look for
- At least 16 years old
- Portfolio with custom items and 3D models, not just Faithful clones
- Blockbench or similar, JSON item models, Minecraft 1.21 resource packs
- At least 8 hours per week, remote, Discord. Soft open: help build the pack. Pay when Nexus City earns, like the team

Social media
EUR 1,000 net take-home
Employment with HeimaWa Kft.: shoot, edit, upload. EUR 1,000 net take-home after tax and contributions, remote, about 5 hours per day. Apply under Careers.
Your tasks
- Produce videos: capture, edit, color, audio, subtitles where it helps
- Upload on our channels: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Shorts. Title, thumbnail, description, schedule
- Formats: trailers, patch clips, spawn tour, events, creator collabs. Nexus look, no foreign server branding
- Align with leadership on releases. Channels and brand stay with Nexus City
What we look for
- At least 18 years old
- Portfolio: finished videos, not just ideas
- About 5 hours per day, remote
- Pay: EUR 1,000 net take-home after tax and contributions, rises with the server
Leadership
Senator
Admin & order in leadership
Leadership role, not a side gig: rulebook, serious reports, staff coordination, releases. During soft open leadership work without fixed salary. Pay when Nexus City earns, like the team.
Your tasks
- Maintain rulebook, wiki and sanction guidelines and enforce them fairly
- Decide reports, bans, appeals and escalations (not just chat)
- Coordinate guardians and mentors, plan staff shifts and cover
- Align policies, changelogs, announcements and releases with leadership
- Incident response for exploits, dupes and cheats
- Moderate Discord tickets and player conflicts when it gets serious
What we look for
- At least 20 years old
- Proven admin/mod experience on Minecraft servers (network or large server)
- Calm under pressure, clear communication, German and English a plus
- At least 25-35 hours per week (leadership, not a guardian side job)
- Weekends at least 10-12 hours plus availability afternoons/evenings (peak time)
- Soft open: leadership work. Pay when the server earns, like the team
Planner
Building and city concept
Planner means design and build: spawn, districts, event maps. You plan how the city feels and ship it with Axiom and WorldEdit.
Your tasks
- Plan and build spawn, districts and event maps
- Design dungeon layouts and boss arenas
- Concept events and place them on the map
- Work with devs on progress loops where build and gameplay meet
What we look for
- At least 16 years old
- Strong building portfolio (screenshots or world downloads)
- Axiom knowledge is important, WorldEdit and VoxelSniper is a plus
- Available at least 6-10 hours per week
Engineer
Developer and systems
Engineer means code: Java plugins for Paper, fixes, performance. You build the tech behind Nexus City, not the support chat.
Your tasks
- Develop and maintain Java plugins (Paper)
- Fix bugs and keep performance in check
- Plan new features with leadership and ship them in plugins
- Maintain configs and databases so live worlds stay stable
What we look for
- At least 16 years old
- Solid Java skills and Paper or Spigot experience
- Git and clean code style
- Available at least 8-15 hours per week
Team
Guardian
Moderation and support
Guardian is first line: chat, reports, calm support. You keep the tone, explain rules and escalate cheats to leadership.
Your tasks
- Moderate in-game chat and reports
- Welcome new players and explain the rules
- Escalate cheater reports to leadership, do not run leadership bans yourself
- Keep shifts, including evenings and weekends
What we look for
- At least 16 years old
- Friendly, patient and rule-abiding
- Willingness for shifts (evenings and weekends)
- Available at least 5-8 hours per week
Mentor
Community and onboarding
Mentor onboard newcomers: plot, jobs, farm, Discord, wiki. You explain patiently, you do not punish.
Your tasks
- Guide new players through tutorial and wiki
- Answer questions on Discord and in-game (plots, jobs, farm, getting started)
- Submit guide and FAQ suggestions when something stays unclear
- Collect community feedback and pass it to leadership
What we look for
- At least 16 years old
- Good knowledge of Nexus City or a fast learner
- Patience with beginners and clear explanations
- Active on Discord, at least 4-6 hours per week
